Reviewing global field requests

Last updated 2026-10-06

Global Field Requests is where you review every pending request for a new shared value — one tab per domain (Markets, Lead Source, Contact, Company, Selling Reason, Cancelled Reason, Title Issues & Liens, Deal Types, Strategies, Renegotiation Reasons), each showing a red pending-count badge when there's something waiting. A top-line summary ("N pending requests across 10 domains") sits above the tabs so you don't have to click through all ten to know whether anything's waiting. The sidebar's Global Requests link shows the same total as a badge.

Approving

Each card shows the proposed name, who requested it and when, their optional note, and an editable Approve as field pre-filled with the proposed name — edit it if you want the value to land under different wording, then select Approve. It's added to the shared list under whatever name is in that field, and the requesting team's own list picks it up automatically — no extra step needed on their end.

Deal Types also asks you to choose an Archetype (Wholesale, Listing, Novation, or Purchase) before Approve becomes clickable — this is the engine behavior the new deal type runs, and there's no default, so pick carefully. Cancelled Reason shows a Side field (Seller-side or Buyer-side), pre-filled with the side the team picked — change it before approving if the team got it wrong. Strategies and Renegotiation Reasons have no extra field — they're plain shared values, same as Markets or Contact.

Rejecting

Select Reject to open a confirmation with an optional Reason field, then Reject again to confirm. The request closes with no change to the shared list.

Once a request is resolved it drops off the queue — there's no way to undo an approve or reject from this page.
