Several of TED's dropdown lists — deal types, buy-box strategies, lead sources, contact/company types, selling/cancelled reasons, and title issue / lien types — are shared across every team on the platform. Rather than letting every team invent its own wording, growing that shared list goes through a quick request-and-review step.
Submitting a request
Fill in the name (for example, Type Name or Reason Name) and select Check & Submit. When you're suggesting a cancelled reason, also choose Seller-side or Buyer-side under Who ended the deal? (the reviewer can change it when approving). TED checks it against the existing list first — if something close already exists, you'll see a warning with the matching entries so you can pick one of those instead of creating a near-duplicate. If nothing close is found, or you're sure yours is different, select Submit "…" anyway (or just Check & Submit again when there's no match) to send it in. You'll see "Request submitted" with a note that a superadmin will review it.
What happens next
A superadmin reviews your request. If they approve it, it's added to the shared list — and your team's own list picks it up automatically, so it's selectable right away without any extra step on your end. If it's rejected, nothing changes; the request just closes.
This same request flow appears anywhere TED asks you to suggest a new shared value — the exact wording of the button and fields changes by context (a deal type, a buy-box strategy, a metro market, a lead source type, a contact or company type, a selling or cancelled reason, a title issue / lien type on a deal's ledger), but the steps above are the same everywhere.
