When you ask TED Support for help, a support person may open your team to see what you see and fix things for you. Each time TED Support opens your team in TED, the visit is recorded, and team admins can review it. TED Support can only work in your team while a recorded visit is open — when they leave, their access ends.
Seeing support visits
- Go to Settings > General.
- Scroll to the Support access card.
Each visit shows as TED Support viewed this team with the date and time, newest first. If TED Support has never opened your team, the card says so.
What TED Support can do in your team
While in your team, TED Support has the same access as a team admin, so they can look at and change anything a team admin can. Changes they make show the support person's name in your activity feeds and change history, the same way a teammate's changes do.
TED Support is never a member of your team. They can't be picked as a deal owner, Transaction Coordinator, Dispo Agent, or for any other seat or task, so if they create a deal for you they choose one of your team members as its owner.
Common issues
- You don't see the Support access card — only team admins can see it.
